Yay! Very proud to be featured here, Katie!! Cheering you through these last few weeks (please!!) of winter, and remember…spring is round the corner! (That’s a book reference for you! Not so clever when I have to spell it out!) xx
It’s been a very booky week up here. We organised a big book swap for the primary school, and today, my son and I went book shopping today (Toppings in Edinburgh) and spent our book tokens. I vetoed the Minecraft books (we don’t even have Minecraft…) but we got a gorgeous book about the night sky, a mythology atlas, and a new chapter book, and Martyr! for me. School didn’t send home WBD vouchers though, we wanted to buy the Loki book since Teddy is myth obsessed.
We were looking at Atlases but they didn’t have the really gorgeous one the bookseller suggested in stock, and I just looked it up and it’s £30 so perhaps a birthday present.
The funny thing is that today I received two copies of your book in the mail! I’d sent a link to my husband to order it a couple of weeks ago, but since he didn’t respond I ordered it myself…and two almost identical packages arrived today. So, now I’m happy to finally get to read it and I’ll have a good gift to give next time it’s a friend’s birthday. 🥳
I really love this, but I ESPECIALLY love that in mere WEEKS I'll be issued a receipt from your wonderful bookshop, which is very conveniently located close to my husband's hometown where we visit from Canada every two years! This will be my third visit to Storytellers Inc! It's a cherished destination. (Also, my eldest daughter loved your novel!)
I feel seen with that uniqlo thebag reference 😂
Another great receipt from the bookshop. Oh man, I love these.

I would marry Kick The Latch if I could.

33 1/3 is a hit in my house! My spouse just added The Big Pink and Live at the Apollo to our bookshelves - and has given as gifts. 🤞
Felt inspired to buy books by women - Caroline O'Donoghue, Bethany Rutter and Katie Clapham 😊. Love Receipts from the Bookshop
